Thanks to the location of the Vatican Observatory Research Group in Tucson, Arizona and the close collaboration of the Vatican scientists with those at the Steward Observatory, graduate astronomy students have a special opportunity to study at the University of Arizona with Vatican Observatory scientists. The Foundation is working to fund and award fellowships to such students, especially those from developing countries who exceptional talents will be further nurtured by working with researchers from more developed countries.
