In order to ensure the mission of the Foundation continues into future generations, the current $3 million endowment must be expanded. This will best position the VOF to make regular telescope upgrades, enhance educational outreach and plan for future initiatives. A perpetual source of funding by means of the endowment will provide the stability necessary to ensure the telescopes and programs of the Observatory are of the highest caliber.

 In this era in which science and religion seem to be in conflict, it should be demonstrated that there is much more affinity between the two.
