Virtual Tour of the Vatican Observatory

Step inside the Vatican Observatory in Rome—one of the oldest active astronomical observatories in the world, with its roots going back to 1582.

Join us for a special (virtual) trip to Italy to tour the space and its meteorite collection (one of the world’s largest) with the director, former Fordham faculty member Guy Consolmagno, S.J., and alumnus Christopher Kennedy, FCRH ’12. Participants will learn about the inner workings of the telescope and will have a chance to delve deeper into the long-standing connection between Jesuits and astronomy.

This event is open to alumni, faculty/staff, parents, students, and the public.
