Let’s Edit Your Star Pictures! Follow-up to last week’s post on cellphone astrophotography.

So, did you try taking some images? Were you happy with them?? No…. oh… I’m not surprised! If you tried taking some images last week with your cellphone and they look dark and uninspiring, don’t feel bad… that’s how they usually start. They might look something like this.

This week, I put together a simple video on how to edit you pictures with a free software program called “PhotoScape X.” Before you watch the video, however, I want you to look at the images below. One of them was take with my camera and other with my phone. I edited both with PhotoScape X. Guess which image is from my camera and which image is from my phone, then watch the video. Enjoy!
