Join us August 30th for a special Blue Moon Meetup where we’ll discuss the Vatican Advanced Technology Telescope’s* 30th anniversary! Hear about the telescope’s back-story, history, scientific discoveries and anecdotes from researchers who actually use it, and those involved with its development!
Our tradition of hosting online meetups with our Sacred Space Astronomy members and the Vatican Observatory staff, scholars and friends during the Full Moon in Tucson (or thereabout) continues on Wednesday August 30th at 12:00 Noon ET (9:00 AM Tucson time).
These meetups are a perk of being a Sacred Space Astronomy supporter, but we’re opening this meetup to the public as part of the Vatican Advanced Technology Telescope’s 30th anniversary celebration.
