A very thin waxing crescent Moon appears a little over 1° from Jupiter in the western sky after sunset on Wednesday March 22, 2023. This is another good opportunity to search for earthshine on the Moon!
Jupiter will be occulted by the Moon for viewers in the southern Pacific ocean between South America and Australia.
