A very thin crescent Moon appears 3°35′ from Saturn in the east-southeastern sky on Sunday March 19, 2023 at 7:10 AM (Eastern). You will have only a few minutes to observe this conjunction before Saturn fades into the glare of the Sun. Keep an eye out for earthshine on the Moon!
Saturn will appear a bit higher, and a bit more to the south with each morning.
