Rigge, William F. (1857-1927)

Fr. William F. Rigge was an astronomer and a priest of the Society of Jesus who taught at Creighton University. He is known for the remarkable incident in which he used his knowledge of astronomy to provide evidence that exonerated a man who had been accused of planting a bomb.
